I haven't had much time to blog lately, but I wanted to stop and give a quick update. I finished staining our cement this weekend, and applied the last coat of epoxy to it yesterday, yeah!! If all goes well, and it dries quick enough they will come install our cabinets on Friday. Our carpet is set to be installed on March 23rd, and trim or no trim, faucets or no faucets, we will be moving in on the 24th. lol. I can't wait!! My mom is coming over to watch my kids today, and I will start cleaning up the huge mess upstairs that the drywallers left. I should take pictures of it, I can't believe all the dust, mud, boxes, sodas etc. So if anyone is feeling bored you know where to come... ;)
Easton is loving preschool, he has made new friends, and is learning so much. It has helped so much, and he is now letting me work with him at home. (Big thanks to his teachers right here, they are awesome!)
Ian is such a little raccoon, getting into everything. He is such a mischievous little man, but then such a cuddly boy too. I love that he gives me a million kisses a day! I am afraid he is going to go through with drawls when we move into our own house, he loves living with Deedee, Neise, Papa, and Gama. (How he says their names)
I will post some pictures once we get the kitchen all in....

So much fun!
My friend Emily called me the other day and asked me if I would help her, by taking pictures of her girls (a surprise for their daddy). I was thrilled! I just love Emily, and her girls are gorgeous! Here are a couple of pictures, if you would like to see more, you can click on over to my picture blog. www.simmonsmoments.blogspot.com

Our little angel

I can't believe that today our little angel would be six. It has been such an amazing day. I have been struggling lately with being really short tempered, bad attitude etc... Well this morning Ian woke up dry heaving, and by 11am he had thrown up five times. Instead of being stressed out, and ornery, I felt love, peace, joy, and many other feelings. I am so grateful for our little angel, because I know she was in our home today blessing me with these feelings. Thank you so much Kelsi, we love you so much, Happy Birthday!

President Monson wiggles his ears...
I was searching for a video for my lesson, and came across this cute video clip of Pres. Monson...
I love how down to earth he is even though he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. I am so grateful for having a modern day prophet!

There is beauty all around....
I have been aching to go take some pictures out here for a while now, but just haven't taken the opportunity. I knew Court wasn't going to be home tonight, so I went and grabbed my camera, and off we went. I have to say that I have fallen in love with where we live. It is gorgeous! I love the drive, I love everything about it.... here are just a few pictures to give you a small sample of what we enjoy...
Don't you just love rural America!
I got so lucky on this one, and captured the suns rays...

Awesome site!
This is just going to be a really quick post, I just wanted to tell all of you to go check out this fairly new site, it is www.ldsjournal.com. It is amazing, I am so excited about it. I think it will help me keep a more accurate, and up to date journal. They have pre written questions about different subjects, that you can click on and journal about at anytime, and then a place where you can journal for the day.... Check it out!
